New member 2005 XK8 Carbon Fiber Edition
I am glad to have found this forum - it provided terrific information in time of need. Aside from consumable items and some broken coolant hoses, this car has been relatively free of defects and fun to drive until a bunch of error codes started appearing. So at this moment the car is at the dealer and I am awaiting on how much I will have to shell out. Check the thread "Restricted Performance" as I will post updates there. But since he hasn't called me, I assume it will be expensive...
The silver 2005 XK8 is my 3rd one. The first one was candy apple red and one of the first available in the SF Bay Area. In 2004 I traded it in for a new model and unfortunately the car would stop for no discernible reason at any given time. It was in the shop so often I do not care to remember and at 3000 miles it was declared a lemon. Jaguar USA made it right by offering me the 05. I just love Jags.
Hopefully I will not have to use the "Help, I have a problem" forums too often but thank you all for contributing your knowledge and experiences.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
