Hello all.
Got my used 2017 Jag F-Type V6 Premium about 4 or 5 days ago. Already fixed a few small things and explored all the buttons and what not.

I have worked and maintained all my vehicles since I was a kid and self educated. I have restored a 1975 Honda CB550F and an 02 Shadow (Motorcycles) as well as several cars over the years that I have fixed up to use as a daily driver.

I may not speak the proper terminology (thingamabob, doodad) but I do know mostly what im talking about.

Im here to both seek knowledge and hopefully share some.

Default Where is the 2017 F-Type V6 Premium specs/manuals and discussions?

Just joined so forgive the ignorance but using the search function I found very little to almost direct results on a 2017 F type v6 or really any model around my year.

I was trying to find the differential capacity as well as other specs or just an owners manual/repair manual. Am i missing somethung? I see results for a lot of other models.

Welcome to the forums BudgetBiker,

Jaguar Owner's Handbooks are online:
https://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/

The Workshop Manuals are also online but through JLR TOPIx:
https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topi...cle/lookupForm

TOPIx is the dealer portal but anyone can open an account. The downside is it's a subscription service and time is expensive. Many members (myself included) have paid for a one day access and downloaded the entire Workshop Manual, electrical schematics and full specifications for their vehicle.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/ to the F-Type forum for help, advice and information. You can also use the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Default Thanks for the info

Thank you all for the info and links etc.
I went down many coridors and found alot of good tips and info.

Today i removed the Auto Start/Stop "feature" thats really an annoyance thats hard on the car and engine with its off and on at stops.

Its a relief not having to hit that button every ride.
cheers to all.

We may never know. BudgetBiker was last on the forum in November 2022.
