Hello all,
I just bought a Jaguar 2007 XK about 2 months ago. I was an auto mechanic in one of my former jobs my years ago, even went to school for it and graduated. When I was 16 for my first car I bought a 1966 Mustang. It would break down on me weekly, and I was always fixing it myself since I was a high school student and poor most of the time. I thought since I liked working on my own car why not go to mechanics school and do it for a living. I was a mechanic for about 3 years then decided it wasn't for me so I went into computers and became a computer support engineer. Did that for 16 years, then got out of I.T. work. Now I have my dream job of being an Innovations Project Manager. I love working on my own cars and building things. I did a partial rebuild of my 1968 Cougar, and over this last summer did the same for my 2005 Mustang GT. The Jagaur XK x150 was my dream car when I first saw it. So recently the opportunity came to purchase one for a crazy cheap price so I bought it. I have lowered the car with new springs and shocks, and this past weekend reupholstered the headliner and trim with black synthetic suede. (still trying to get the glue off my fingers hahaahah) I also live in the San Francisco bay area.
