Hello and thank you for adding me to the forum. I am now a proud Jaguar owner. I recently purchased a 2002 XK8 convertible with about 19,500 miles on it, so it's just broken in. I, also, am looking forward to learning from this knowledgeable group.

Welcome to the forums DCradd,

That is an exceptionally low mileage. Remember rubber deteriorates with time as well as distance so cooling hoses and suspension bushes should be checked if there is no record of replacement.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
You're so right! It's just now well broken in and loosened up. You could easily get another couple hundred thousand miles out of it with proper care and feeding.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
