Hi all
my name is Gerry wickham and I live on the SE London/NW Kent border.
I’m not currently the owner of a Jaguar but have owned an e-type, an s-type and an x-type in the past.
I’m now looking to purchase an XKR Carbon Edition (one of the genuine 100 vehicles). Joining the forum in the hope that I can get enough information to be able to tell a “real” one from an upgraded one. There are a few about being advertised as carbon edition which clearly are not.
is there a list of chassis numbers for the 100 cars?
best Regards

Welcome to the forums Gerry,
Good to have you with us.
This question had had some previous discussion on the forums. Typically, Jaguar did not reserve a sequential batch of VIN's for any limited edition making it harder to be absolutely certain you are being offered the genuine article.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the X100 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
