Hello all..my name is Ted...I live in Chanhassen, Minnesota...I have a 2003 XK8.....and love it....the only criticism is the 0-60 is slower than all the Audi's out there these days....

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might get some "tuning up" or customization to make it just a tad faster.....any idea's would be deeply appreciated..

I'm 62 years old..and don't drag race ... but it sure is nice to know the power is there when you want it.......

Greetings, Ted: and welcome to the forum. Glad to have another Midwesterner in the club. Can't say about making the car go faster. I'm only in my mid-30s, but my understanding is that I am supposed to drive my car as slowly as possible so as to look as if I own the road! I'm sure the XK guys will help you with that.
Cheers!
Scott

Default "S" button

Can anyone share with me the point of the little button on the shift console that lights up "S" when it is activated?... I have had it on and off and see no difference...so clearly, I must be missing something.....thoughts?.....Ted

Welcome to the forum,

The sport button changes the parameters of the gearchange control, holding each gear to a higher rpm and giving a more spirited feel.
