Greetings from Geelong, Victoria, Australia. I have been a Jaguar owner for the past 20 years. I have owned a Mark 10 4.2 litre, 2 XJSs, 5.3 litre cars with the early 1978 model converted to a 5 spd manual.Unfortunately it burnt itself to death Dec 2006. Engine fire. My second red XJS, 1985 V12 has just been sold ( 149,000kms/ 93,000 miles) and now I am down to one Jaguar being a BRG 1997 XK8 4litre coupe which has travelled 93,000kms or 58,000 miles. Since acquiring this vehicle I have spent a reasonable amount of money on it including replacing the primary & secondary tensioners, chains, water pump etc and the list goes on.
I am 68 years old and retired and I have been known to spend far too much of my hard earned money on them. So be it.

Profile update
Further to my recent intro as new member, I forgot to include as one of my previous cars a 1997 XJR 4 litre supercharged model. It was carnival red with bone interior. Car was sold with 60,000 miles on the clock. I sold this car and my XJS to finance the purchase of a 1997 BRG XK8 4 litre coupe.
