The BMW vs Jag debate is a long one. I came from a 2001 540i/6 that was an absolute blast to drive in the twisties, but was a bit harder around town. What I really liked about the Jag is to me is was a bit softer around town, but that is where I do most of my driving anyway. Also, I am in the camp of thinking that the double wishbone suspension is far superior to a McPherson strut setup for tactile road feel.
