My name is Frank and I live in Melbourne Florida.just bought my 6th jag. This one is a project. I984 XJ6 with a chevy conversion. I am converting back to a real jaguar. I bought a donor car with a carburetted engine to swap all the parts over. Will post as I proceed. I am in the process of repainting the car first before I tackle the mechanicals

Update on 1984 Jag:
I have resolved all of the electrical problems and finally removed the chevy engine. I am now trying to figure out what they did to this car in order to install the chevy engine. Was anything cut? or is the chevy transplant straightforward. My donor car for the engine and transmission is a 1973 jag so I do not know if the powertrain mounting points for the 84 and 73 are the same. I would appreciate any input on this?

Frank,
Making good progress.
If you post pics of the engine bay etc on XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section, it should prompt replies with that information from members with standard 1984 XJ6's.

So, I have finally installed the 75 jag engine in the 84 jag. I have sorted out all of the electrical issues and got the car running. Here is my problem. This is a carbureted engine and i am using an aftermarket electrical fuel pump. Does anyone know how I can install the fuel return line? this engine was set up -fuel pump to carburetor with no return. My 84 has all the plumbing for the return lines. Any and all help will be appreciated. Also I need to post some pics. Where do I do this?
