Your forum rocks.
This forum is great for Jaguar information. I just got my 2002 Vanden Plas smogged in California (72,000 miles) and the information I found here was really helpful. Turns out the MIL and Restricted Performance Mode were caused by a dirty MAP sensor. I still needed professional help but all it required was a cleaning. I had cleaned the sensor before but didn't realize the part that needs clearing isn't the part you can see. Anyway, it cleared the lean codes I was getting in both banks.
Hope this helps someone.

Welcome to the forum Jag2002vandenplasowner,
Good to hear you've found useful advice here and your VDP is running OK again. No need to give you a link to the X308 section as you already know your way around.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
