I'm new to the Jag forums, have a 98 XJR and love it. Seems odd that the 4 door is faster than my 911[:-]

It's nice to read Jaguar faster over 911

Welcome. I'm with you, performance on my 01 XJR is nearly on par with my ultimate benchmark - the E39 M5. Amazing, isn't it? Lol.
Gotta admit the chassis is nowhere as refined, and I'm working on making the steering a LOT heavier, but it's a lot of car you're getting.

Thanks guys, after driving 911s for so many years (yes, I still have them) the XJR if a refined ride that can smoke a lot of cars that don't expect it. It is funny to see the look on some mustang guys face when this guy eats your lunch in a 4 door.
