I had an 68 XKE in the 80's, I loved the way it handled but it had too many problems to keep, Cylinder head always needed retorqued, the wipers would start running on a warm clear day but not work in the rain, lighting problems the floor was cancered, I always said if the Ex-wife crashed it I would use the suspension for a Cobra kit car. I now have 4 Jag front and rear suspensions on pallets for my project hotrods. A 32 ford roadster, 29 Nash roadster 46 international pickup, one pallet load not assigned, My son as a Jag Irs in his 22 dodge lakester. I am always looking for Tech info on Jaguar parts.

Welcome to the forum timothale,
That XKE would be very nice to have now.
The Jaguar IRS is a superb unit. We used to see quite a lot of specials in the UK using it but this seems to have disappeared over here nowadays.
The Other Jaguar Models / Concepts / Replicas - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum and Non-Jaguar Vehicles - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum sections should interest you and it would be good to see pics of your projects there.
You may also like to visit the US Central Region section by following this link Central US - MT WY CO ND SD NE KS - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forum.
