New Member 97 XJ6 and a slew of MGs...

Hello Everyone!
New member from NH... I am currently borrowing a 97 XK6 for a couple of months while my daily driver is in the shop... while I have the car, I am trying to work a couple of kinks out of it. I stumbled upon this forum.
I am no stranger to British Cars... I have had MGs for the last 30 years. Currently in my garage I have a 53 MG TD (supercharged), a 57 MGA and 78 MGB.
So those are my British cars, I have a few Italian motorcycles also...
So, my daily driver Ford F350 Superduty needed to visit the body shop for a few months. I needed something to get to work with, my mothers boyfriend offered up his XJ6, how could I refuse...
I love driving this car! But there are a few issues I would like to work out for him before handing it back. Being it December and in NH, I will probably end up storing it for him in my garage.
It had a few lamps out, so I grabbed a bunch from work (I am an automotive lighting manufacturing engineer) and re-lamped the car in LEDs. except for the side marker lights in the front fender and the side markers in the bumper.... I haven't figured out how to get at them, so that's how I wandered up here...
There is a vibration that comes on about 49mph and leaves about 53mph. I think it's in the tires, they are about 25-45% remaining. I know about the Hunter road force balancers and there is one across the street from me, so I am going have them look at the tires.
The last is a thumping over bumps, which I think is probably a sway bar end link or bushings. I need to get it up on the lift to be sure.
So I will be poking around and asking these questions... but first I will do the search and see if it's something that's been asked before.![Icon Wink](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Thanks!
Blair
