Hello I'm Gilbert Hicks a new member to Jaguar Forums. I recently purchased a 2006 XJ8L 76000 miles. I am a bit of a Shade Tree mechanic and probably do alot of the mechanic work on the vehicle as well. Looking forward to some helpful hints as this is my first Jaguar. I have been a BMW (bad word in this forum, I know) type guy for years and I have always done my own mechanic work. Thank you

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
