Hi All,
I just bought myself a couple series 1 XJ6’s to build one nice car out of. One is a 1971 and the other is a 1973. I am putting the ’73 together because it is dent and rust free. It is a SBC 350 swap with aTH350 trans. I’m hoping you all will be able to help when I get stuck doing upgrades and repairs. I paid a thousand for the two cars but there are many close by for a few hundred so parts will not be hard to get. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Can't wait to drive it
Thanks, no one sees the car for what it will be, they came to my house on my trailer and they really looked bad. My wife and brother looked at them and asked "What in the world are you going to do with them". I've rebuilt the engine and reupholstered the interior and am now working on cosmetics. Now my wife wants to drive it and my brother tells everyone about what I'm doing to it. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My plan is to make a corvette killing sleeper out of this car. If I can get the fuel to flow forward from the tanks.

Welcome to the forum John,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link US Southwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
