New member but not new to sensitive vehicles
I have recently purchased a car Ive always admired. My first Jag was a 1990 Sovreighn. It had less than a hundred k miles on it. Before I could finish the regisration , my 52 yr old son hit a cow and that ended that. But I had the fever. I now own a 99 xk8. Ive had motorcycles all my adult life and Im currently finishing my last one so sensitive vehicles dont scare me. . Im as smart as any profesional mech , just not educated in the language.

Given the age of the vehicle, it's best to replace the primary and secondary timing chains, guides and tensioners.
