New member checking in.
Hi, Just joined today. 3 weeks ago I purchased a 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio convertible. The car is almost mint with about 66000 miles. I purchased it in South Florida where I live. Many years ago I was involved in restoring a 1964 XKE and a 1956 XK 140 with my Dad. I have always loved Jaguars and at this point in my life am now glad to own one. I have read the posts in this forum and everyone appears very knowledgeable on these fine automobiles. I hope to learn a lot. Any information with regard to these vehicles is welcome. I wonder if I am the new owner of a car I saw mentioned in this forum from a thread posted in 2013. The name was Alleji I believe.
In became aware from this forum that the production numbers for this specific car were very low, about 200 I believe.
Thanks for the opportunity,
dcvarn65

Hello,
Congratulations on your 'new' Jaguar! And a convertible at that!
Someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where members will be better able to tell you about production numbers, and just about anything else you need/want to know.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Thanks for all the greetings, Sorry I am a little late getting back to all the well wishers but I am not that computer savvy. In fact I hope this message is constructed correctly and goes to the correct audience. I am so happy to be part of this forum. My Jag is a fantastic car to drive. I would love to hear from other 2009 Jaguar XKR owners or XKR Portfolio owners. I am still getting used to the car and there are several issues I would love to discuss such as the correct operation of the shift paddles and the accurate production numbers for my vehicle.
Thank you all very much,
dcvarn65

I've moved your signature check post from the end of a very old thread on a different topic in Jaguar Forums Feedback & Suggestion Center to your Intro thread.
And YES, your signature is perfect. Amendments to signatures only appear with your NEXT post and not IMMEDIATELY. This catches out a lot of new members.
