Hi, I'm a new member from Coos Bay, Oregon, USA. I have a 1975 Jaguar, XJ6C that has had a hood fire. Trying to decide if it is going to be worth my time & money to restore it.

Welcome to the forum, is the red on the front right of the car fire damage or a reflection?

Edit,at a closer look it looks like a reflection from the fastback parked beside it

"Worth your time and money" is actually a question only you can answer. If you mean if you'll ever get your money back, Never! If you mean will you have a very cool car when your finished, Definitely.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum davewood,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Unlikely you'll make money on it but you will have one of the most desirable Jaguar coupes ever built and rarely, if ever, see another on the road.

Follow Norri's link in post #4 to the XJ6 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
