Welcome to the forum brijacsinj,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Did you fix the transmission problem?

I can see you have found the XK8/XKR forum so there is no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Thanks for the question about my gearbox. Unfortunately I have not solved yet. I changed the valve body, conductor plate but the problem is repeated. I have fault P0730 and P 1727. I mean open the gearbox .. do you have any suggestions
best regards
Stanko

Stanko,

The Jaguar fault code list for the 5 HP 24 Transmission Control System – 2000 MY does NOT include either P0730 or P1727.

See the missing Pxxxx numbers in the DTC column.

Many code readers cannot accurately read Jaguar transmission codes. Are you using Jaguar SDD (System Driven Diagnostics)?

Graham
