Hi paulok, in Dubai too and bought an xj8 a couple months ago. I was wondering where you would recommend servicing the car. Mine is just over 5 years old so out of warranty. It has all its service history at the SZR dealership but I dont know how they compare.
The car has had the "restricted performance" message for a couple weeks now and I need to have it looked at!

You could try AAA service centre near Mall of the Emirates. http://www.aaadubai.com/
I have used them for years on my cars. They will tell you if you need to go to Jag as some things require special tools. For general services though they are good and not too expensive.
