New member, from England, with a 1997 XJ6 Sport
Hello everyone,
I’m in Greater Manchester in England, and in December I purchased my pride and joy, a 1997 XJ6 Sport 3.2. It’s finished in Aquamarine with a great Oatmeal leather interior. It had the mesh grille already fitted, along with the X308 headlamp upgrade (which I’ve now converted to full LED), and has a full Sportex stainless steel exhaust system.
I’ve fitted a modern head unit (Bluetooth radio) and upgraded the speakers and added a sub too.
I have also just changed all the centre console lights to LED, which was a task, but looks great now. I’m happy to offer any advice to anyone wanting to try it. It’s easy and cheap to do.
I need to sort the rear arches out in the summer and repaint them, and also redo a small bit of lacquer peel on one sill, but I need the warm weather to arrive first!
My next job though is to replace the anti roll bar bushes all round (it has sports suspension), and probably replace many other bits of suspension and brakes as I go.
Here she is:

Welcome to the forums HorseBoxGuy,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
