I have a 2007xk. As a previous Porsche man I find the seats give a very poor support going round corners. I have therefor acquired 16 way seats from a 2010 xkr. Despite the wiring diagrams being the same the actual wires are totally different . I am waiting for Lear the seat manufacturers to tel me how to do it as at the moment nothing matches. Has anyone tried this before. I also need a drivers 16 way switch does any one have one lying around.

This section is for Intros and you should post this technical question in XK / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section. If it's possible, or been done, the guys there should have the answer.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

i have a 2007 XK. i have owned it for 2 years after starting with a 944 and ending up with a 911 turbo (996). The turbo was perfect and i kept it for 4 years but in the end it was too perfect. Never a moments drama which was the problem. Fell in love with the looks of the XK which always bring a smile to my face. only problem was the Ariel which has been removed and filled in and the seats which are nowhere as good as Porsche. nothing is ever perfect but trying to resolve this.
