New Member, first car for my daughter also!
Been on J-L for many years, but this place looks nice too!
Have an XJ6C since '86, a '67 XKE by proxy (dads) since '74.
Recently bought a nice '86 xj6 with plans to use the motor to unlump my XJC. Well...
my 16 yr old daughter fell in love with it after driving it, and several thousand dollars later I'm still trying to get it dependable enough to let her have it. Do love jags though, the xke I drove to high school, and was totally addicted to it. Dad had it painted a dark orange metalflake with a blue and silver bonnet bulge! (it was the '70's) I can't believe he let me drive it as much as he did.
At any rate, I need the '86 roadworthy by next week if possible, I'll be working on it...
