After many years of admiring and lusting after Jaguars (XKEs, XK120,140,150s) I finally have one of my own. Last week I drove home a 1999 XJR in very nice condition. Last owner bought it at 8 months old and it's been garage kept ever since. Only a couple items to address: cup holder, drivers side window motor and an oil leak. I just got some leather cleaner and conditioner, so will be going over the interior which is in very nice condition for it's age. The exterior is outstanding with only a very few parking lot dings that can probably be a paintless repair. She runs very well and gets from 80 to 120mph rather quickly. Drove it home (350 miles) for only $1500, so I feel I got a heck of a deal. I'll need to get a repair manual to figure out the oil lines, as I'm pretty sure I've spotted the leak. (a line just behind the supercharger going to the bulkhead. Looks like a joint in the line, so may just need a seal. Anyway, hello! Here's a couple pictures.
