Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
111K is just now well broken and loosened up for a modern engine. Loads more miles still in that car!
Someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can find help and advice if you need, or just hang out with other owners.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome aboard
Just bought my first Jag, 2002 XJ8 with 70 K miles for a 'steal' of $3,000. Previous owner grew too 'large' to fit inside. His loss, My Gain. I noticed in your photo the Jag emblem on the hood. My convertible didn't have one, but planning on getting the hood ornament. I just uploaded a Drivers Manual that most sites sell for around $100 (free download). If there is interest, I will post the link. I understand the XK8's from 1997 to 2016 were identical. So one shop manual covers them all.

Thanks - I was able to find the owners manual pdf. Sadly, the car has some issues with suspension and an oil leak. I don't work on her myself and this may be more than I can afford to put into her with the labor involved. I may have to re-home her to someone who has the time and skill to fix her up. Inside she looks great and runs fine, but needs new air shocks or a conversion and probably some engine work for the leak
