Hi All,

Just bought a 98 XJ8. According to the previous owner the car ran find before parked. It was parked for 10 months and now cranks but does not start. The battery went dead and the car was jumped but not started with a jump pack several times durring this period. I have searched the sight a little and wanted to thank you all for the advice and information that I've found. I am still working on the problem, the car cranks and there is fuel to the rail. There is no spark or injector pulse. Long story short, thank you all for the wealth of information on the site and as a side note if anyone has any suggestions on where to look from here, thanks!
As a side note, I know Land Rovers very well so if anyone needs help on that front I'll gladly pitch in.
