Howdy all,
I just recently purchased a 1999 XJR. Anthracite over oatmeal. Overall in nice shape with 87k miles, but the previous owner bodged quite a few things that I'm making right.
I have owned primarily german cars and am no stranger to turning wrenches, but these cars are a bit different, so I'm sure I'll have questions.
Thanks.

Hello,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar! 87k miles on a modern engine is just now well loosened up and broken in.
I've always found that the fun part of any new-to-me car is the making of things right that previous owners messed up. It's sort of a Bonding Experience. After that you can DRIVE THE WHEELS OFF with confidence!
