Hello everyone, my name is Kevin Hassen. I was in the US Army for 5 years and got out to do some Defense Contracting work in Afghanistan. I work for Northrop Grumman as a CRAM (Counter Rocket Artillary and Mortar) Team Lead in the Eastern Region of Afghanistan. Last time I was home on leave I bought a 2007 XK Coupe. When I am not in Afghanistan I live in Toledo, OH. I actually drove all the way to Chicago to pick this car up. A decision I will never regret I love this car, I do not have any kids of my own so my mother calls it her grandchild haha.

Welcome to the forum Kevin,
Keep safe - to you and all other contractors and military.
Buying the XK was a good way to enjoy your leave and that'll have been around a 500 mile round trip to collect the car? It must have made going back even more difficult!

Thank you for the advice I actually made my first post before actually adding any additional information to my profile. But yes Graham it did make going back that much more difficult. The car is a blast to drive. My other car, 2012 VW Passat, is a nice car as well but it goes 0-60 eventually haha. The VW I do not have in storage because it is my families back up car in case anything happens to theirs. However the Jaguar they are not to touch and is in a climate controlled storage facility while I am deployed haha.

Thank you for the upgrade I greatly appreciate it. I noticed the people here are very friendly/helpful so far. The second post I made was in reference to performance upgrades and several people answered within 24 hours. And for clarification purposes I was in the Army I got out in 2010 to become a Defense Contractor here in Afghanistan. Same job...ish, less prestige, but MUCH higher pay.
