Thank you for allowing me to join the forum. I have owned 3 x types over the last few years my current car being a 2.5 auto awd finished in British racing green. I use her as my weekend "toy", she's a two owner car with 66k on the clock and full history mostly Jaguar on Tyneside.
She's a joy to drive other than a problem of a judder when I get to 65mph, I booked her in to my local jag specialist who suggested replacing the tyres with Pirell c6's which I have done but the problem remains!
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
I firmly believe that the X type is the most incredible car, sports car performance with the jaguar growl, great looking and sumptuous leather, a brilliant and cheap entry level jaguar.
Must go now and polish the old girl.

Welcome to the forum Mike,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Did they check the rims for distortion when you got the new tyres?
I know you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
