Default New Member-Greetings form the US Heartland

Hi all,

I'm a new sign-up from Indiana, in the USA. I'm a 21 year dealer Master Tech and owner of a '95 XJR and a '97 XK8 Conv. I've been active in JCNA for the last 11 years and active on the JCNA Forum for the last two or so. I'm probably aquainted with some of the dealer techs out there and look forward to seeing what tips and tricks I can glean from lurking around the JaguarForums now and then. I'll not be here every day, but I'll chime in once in a while if I think I can be of assistance.

Looking forward to being a "blessed member" and having full access.

Keep on JagIN'

welcome aboard xjrguy, good to have you with us, especially as you are a Jagtech ( a revered bunch here )
I hope you enjoy the site and have upgraded you too immediate Full forum access.
If you drop by from time to time and hopefully help out by sharing some of your knowledge along with the other techs, perhaps we can offer you the "tech certified" badge.
Catch you around the site

Welcome XJRguy. I am just south of you in Louisville. More expertise is always welcome. I am not much of a mechanic, but if you have a nuclear submarine you need help with I'm your guy.

Howdy Heartland,
I'm enthused about all the enthusiasts here. Look forward to talking with y'all. I own a 1982 XJ6 and a 1999 XK8 convertible. Jag lover since a kid.

Thanks all.

Jim, I appreciate the confidence and accommodation with full access. I'm learning my way around. Found my CP and other features and look forward to being a competent contributor.

Louisville guy here too, and a newbie.

Looking into a 2005 Super V8.

Where is the best place in Louisville, aside from Bluegrass Auto, to have Jaguars serviced?

I have a guy who does it on the side. He knows what he is doing, so if you need something e-mail me at terry.carby09@insightbb.com and I will get his number for you.

Wow! Lots of activity in Louisville, I like that.
I'm sorry to say I've heard of a few people that have issues with Blue Grass, that's unfortunate. I'm just 2 hours away in Indianapolis. If you think they, or anyone else for that matter, are not giving you a fair shake or the straight story, contact me. I'll try to help see through the smoke.
I've worked hard to earn a solid reputation within Jaguar, the national and local Jaguar Clubs and our own Indiana clientele. I know, I'm a "dreaded dealer guy", but sometimes the aftermarket repairers just get in over their heads with these newer cars.
Let me know if I can help.

Cheers,
Steve Petry
