I am having problems that no one can seam to pinpoint with a 1991 XJS 5.3 V12 marelli ignition.. Have 39psi fuel pressure / have fire to both coils, distributor, all the plugs, and all injectors on the B left bank. There is 12 volts to the A right bank but no injector is firing. All of the left bank (B) are firing. Will try to start if you spray starting fluid to the right bank. Have changed both ECU. Changed the power resistor. swap the marelli amplifiers. I am thinking it is in the wiring harness. Sure would like some input. Thanks Harold

Failures of the injector harness are common; to the extent that many replace the harness on general principles before an actual symptom ever appears. I wouldn't be surprised if replacing it fixed your problem....especially in light of the other work done which narrows down the alternatives.. Many owners build their own harness but new ones are out there.

Welcome.
I agree with Doug, and my experience with these bests.
Do that harness, and then tick it off the list of culprits.
BUT
Find the EFI loom plug, usually near the A Bank camcover front edge, unplug it, and replug it, sometimes +, sometimes not.
Do the same with the resistor pack plug, and this sucker is inside the engine bay, on the inner guard, just aft of the RH headlamp binnacle.
The XJS Tech Section will have answers/ suggestions flowing much quicker than from here, so worth a repost.
Good luck.
