Greetings from new member. Bought my X-Type 2.5 from a Jag dealer with 7,000 miles (was apparently a rental bought at auction) and it has been a very enjoyable ride for the last 92,000 or so for myself, then my wife, then my daughter. Have viewed this forum before for advice on common issues and actually tried to join previously but somehow managed to fail the application process! Seems to have worked this time, so I'm looking forward to some expert advice on my latest challenge (A/C) and hopefully contributing a tidbit or two from my experience. Cheers.

Thanks
Thanks for that Norri, I will certainly research the existing threads before asking my questions. Have already benefited from stalking the forum as a guest, but my recent return to the Jag dealer prompted the renewed commitment to join. Dealer quoted $3,000 of recommended work on a car that my wife told me to sell over a year ago. Since KBB estimates I can maybe get $5,000 for it in full working order, I'll have to get smarter and better at fixing it myself!

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
