Hi from Singapore
Hi Stan,
Thanks for your welcome message. I've always been fascinated and intrigued with Jaguars but did not have the guts to buy one before. Everyone kept saying that jaguars are problematic and if I were to buy one it'll be a money pit. But my passion for refined cars was just too strong. So here I am. Haha.

Welcome to the forums! Great to have somebody from Singapore.
Do you get a chance to drive your kitty much in Singapore or do you take it up to Malaysia for a spin?
When I was in Singapore early last year I spotted a few classic jags, one was an XJS and the other I think may have been a Mark 1 or 2...it was only a quick glimpse.
Plenty of new XJ's and F-Types getting around there too!
Happy driving!

"New" XK8
Thank you all for your warm welcome.
Yes, my "new" jaguar indeed. My sons (17 & 20 years old) already have plans to keep the cat forever.
Which is a good thing actually. Judging from the way the Singapore government is making motoring policies, I don't see a bright future for cars with heritage. Hence the new jaguars you see when you were here in Singapore, Paulyling. The classics are a rare sight.
I have not not had the chance to enjoy the XK8 yet. Upon collection from the dealer I brought her straight to the workshop for various seals replacement. Will post pictures and update everyone when I can.
Cheers.
