Default New member intro

Uh oh, I did it again. I owned a 1997 XK8 that I sold in 2010 after pouring $10,000 into engine, transmission repairs. I guess the pain of that experience has been over ridden by the siren sound of the puuuuring cat. I just purchased a 2010 XF with 91,000 miles for $14,500. Within 200 miles the water pump blew. So now I'm getting price quotes of $700-900 to replace the pump, hoses and anti-freeze.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Myrtle Beach, SC?

Thanks for your prompt response. I am getting prices of $600 -850 to replace a water pump and hoses in Myrtle Beach, while Charlestown Imports quotes $325++ What a huge difference. Unfortunately, it would probably cost $250 to tow it to Charleston, so I'm hoping to find someone local
