Just recently came across a deal on a 2005 Jaguar S-Type R that i couldn't pass up and am now once again an owner of a Jag. Been in love with them since the purchase of my 1st car ever a 2001 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 back in 2013. When i ran into this STR in the same exact exterior and interior color as my first Jag it brought back so many memories i couldn't pass it up. Looking forward to fixing her up and having her running and looking as good as new. Currently showing DSC NOT AVAILABLE & CATS SYSTEM FAULT with a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT and the AMBER LIGHT on. Engine turns on and runs without any issues although the other day the speedometer did not read any speed and the RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE showed on the dash as well. These are the only issues i have ran into in my two weeks of ownership so far. Exterior wise looks like she only need a paint touch up on the roof panel. Any help to address these issues will be greatly appreciated will also read up on the forums to start fixing her up. First three pictures are of my new S-Type R last picture is of my first Jag the S-Type 3.0

If the vehicle had been standing on a lot for a while before purchase, you could find a battery charge (or possibly replacement if it's more than five years old) will get rid of a lot of error messages.
