Default New member- intro

Hi all,
A little introduction;
I’m a British ex-pat living in central pennsyltucky USA, been here a little over 7 years. Maybe it’s a way of staving off the homesickness or a mid life crisis but I bought a 1984 XJS 2 years ago. Recently purchased a 1965 3.8S, because one Jag is never enough, right?

XJS is running but don’t get to enjoy her much as I’m an over the road trucker and only get home most weekends, she’s currently parked up for the winter.

S-type needs lots of attention, been parked in a barn in Ohio since 1984, rear end locked up (maybe brakes or transmission), engine I’ve not had chance to put a wrench on the crank yet.

I know my way around vehicles pretty well and will tackle most jobs myself (except painting), owned and XJ6 and a Daimler sovereign when I was younger.

Looking forward to Sharing my experiences as well as asking advice.

Mike
