Hello everybody new member here getting on here to get some more info about A 1974 XJ6 A friend of mine has due to his dad passing Away. Hope to get some information about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I myself have been a mechanic for 15 years professionally just don't know about this alley. He's looking to sell it and I have more pictures I just have to figure out how to get them up on here from my phone.

 

We havent dug into it very much yet but it was running when parked. Looks kind of rough but we will be going through it to get it running soon. Just trying to get an idea of what they are worth and may need some help along the way. I think it's an awesome looking car myself. Batman thought so too.

Hey! Thanks! Figured I'd run into a guru or two that I could maybe talk to on the phone to get some answers here soon about this sweet peice of machinery. I'd love to have it but it's not in the cards. I have 2 cars to many already haha.

What your friend has there is a Series 1 Xj6. Getting pretty scarce on the ground by now 50 years later.
