New Member Intro for Viking One
Hi All,
I have been a Jaguar enthusiest and owner for many years. At present I am looking for a xj6c to restore for my driver. I have owned a XK120 years ago, and now have the bug again for another Jag.
I am restoring a rare DKW Auto Union 1000 SP Coupe right now with my Cousin, and find it to be quite a challenge getting parts etc..
Also raced a BMC Formula Junior out of Joe Huffaker Seniors Shop in the early 60's and still follow Vintage Car Racing very closely going to many races a year. In those days Frank Morrell was driving a E-jag out of Joe's shop at BMC in San Francisco!
I live here in Santa Barbara, I'm retired but very active, and am happy to be a new member with this group. Looking for a good Jaguar Project if anyone hears of one, please let me know. Thanks for listening..............

Welcome to the forum Viking good to have you with us. I moved your post into your own introductory thread, the guys will give you a better welcome this way.
Sounds like a very interesting automotive life you have led, always good to see someone with your experience.
We would like to see some pictures of your restoration, please post some when you get the chance.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
