New member introduction.
Hi all.
My name is Jack, and I am delighted to be a new member. I live in the San Francisco bay area, and have been a Jag fan for as long as I can remember.
At one point in the early 70's, I started as an apprentice mechanic at Peninsula British Cars in Palo Alto, lasting only 2 years before moving on.
My first Jag was a 1958 XK-150 coupe, which I foolishly sold many years ago. It still lives with the gent that I sold it to, in parts, in his garage.
I just purchased a 2009 Jag XJ Portfolio in Palm Springs, CA. Astrial gold with 26,000 miles. I understand these are somewhat rare. I am thrilled.
I will now be selling my 2006 Jag XJ8L.
