Hello everyone! as i am new i would like to introduce myself just briefly.

Im 19 And currently Own 2 Jaguars

I have a 1973 XJ6 Series II which i plan to keep as a later restoration project and eventually put a 350 Chev engine in it ( I hear thats the go with them!)

The second is a 1987 XJ6 Sovereign or XJ40 i believe they are called. I plan to use it as a daily driver once its nursed back to health in the coming months.

I absolutely ADORE jaguars and think there is nothing more beautiful and majestic than a jag. Of course i am heavily criticised by my age level as i am driving cars well before my age! but who cares right?

I hope to gain a lot of knowledge and advice from this forum in efforts of bringing my old beasts back to their glory days.

Welcome Creatious and pay no heed to those who say Jag's are cars for the old. These are cars for enthusiasts and I personally have noted a distinct reaction from women around these cars. Their eyes light up when you say "I have a Jag"!

Not sure but I seem to remember reading something about Holden engines down there.
