New member introduction from Australia
Hello forum,
My name is Paul and I purchased my first Jaguar 2 days ago. I am now the proud owner of a 3.0 X-Type SE. I'm keen to do a lot of the regular maintenance tasks myself and so far things are looking promising. My first project will be the compact disc changer which the screen tells me can't locate the cds I slotted into the magazine. Hopefully it will only be a maladjusted gear meshing, which seems to be the most common source of issues in this area as recorded on the internet.
I look forward to sharing with you here my ownership journey.
regards
Paul

Hi Paul, Welcome to the forum. Not a lot of Queenslanders here.
I'm about 9 weeks into the Jag world, except my mother-in-laws 3ltr X-type (BRG)we had as a second car from 2004-2007 as she only drove it to shops twice a week and we had it the rest of the time to run around the young family when we could only afford 1 car and my bikes(lol).
But it was too big for her so she got a 1 series BMW to replace it.
Drop into the Australia/New Zealand section for a chin wag.
