Hi to everyone,
I may have broken the rule of introduction first and post later, but better later than never. I got myself 2003 Jaguar S Type V6 3.0. 150K+ miles. I used to have Jaguar S type v8 years ago.
There is no good reason or explanation, other than the fact, that owning Jaguar is infectious disease and clearly a diagnosis of a person. However, I got solid excuse this time around.
I was able to land MANUAL gearbox Jaguar. Not an easy find. Flew from North Carolina To California and drove it back. I have set my mind to get it to "as close as I can to new shape", which may be a bit of stretch, but solid goal.
If it were not for manual transition, I would have not touched oil smelly interior jag with small leak here and there with that mileage. I see lots of members with tons of expertise and I am heavily DIY person, look forward to learning.

Welcome to the forums Leons,
The manual variant is a rare find.
I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

Hello, Leons,
Congratulations on your Latest S-type Jaguar!
Surely you've learned by now that Jags mark their territory with oil spots and drips?
And if one of those drips happens to fall on the exhaust, well, that's how they make Pheromones to attract some and repel others.
