Hello all.... as requested by the new member guidelines, I wanted to post a quick intro. I'm currently the owner of a 2004 XJ8, but I've been a lifelong Jaguar aficionado.

Jags currently in our family:
- 2004 XJ8
- 1986 XJ6 Series III
- 1959 XK150

Jags formerly in our family:
- 1983 XJ6 Series III

Jaguars we wish were in our family:
- Series I E-type
- Mark II

I'm also the owner of a 1988 Porsche 928 [my other, other hobby].
As a high school student I was apprenticed to a Jaguar mechanic and restoration shop in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Glad to see fellow Jag owners helping one another out.

Howdy from slightly further east.

If that's your photo in your avatar, you look surprisingly like a good motorcycle riding buddy of mine. Come to think of it, I need to give him a call!

Hope you enjoy the site. There's some good folks here.
(Then, of course, there's me.)

Oh well, ya can't win 'em all!

Ah, nope... that's not my actual photo. Although, given a long enough vacation, I would likely resemble the grizzly beard.

Welcome to the forum, I was going to say don't look so surprised, but baffled might have been more appropriate.
