New member, long time lurker
Hi all, new to the forums, but have been a long time reader.
I grew up in the UK around Jaguars and other British cars (Rover, Austin, MG, Triumph, Vauxhall) my mum's side of the family have always been owned auto body shops or garages. I've always been interested in cars, but can barely change oil.
I own a 1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible 6.0L with about 60k miles on it. I've committed a royal sin by allowing it to sit too long and now I have a rusted fuel tank. The car is at JMC Import Auto Repair in Tempe, Arizona with Joe. Currently either looking for a spare gas tank and in the meantime pouring money into solutions that may help salvage the old one. Ultimately I'd love to get this car running again, that's what drove me to register today. Would love to meet other folks in the metro PHX area for some nice drives once I've revived the sleeping beast.
I've attached a photo from the day I bought her a number of years ago.
Nice to meet you all!
