Hello
My name is Jacques. I'm French, living in Luxembourg/Europe. I'm 49, married with 4 children.
I just bought an XJR 2001 with a nice color combination (Westminster Blue/Oatmeal interior). The car is in good condition and has 160000 km on the clock.
I am a real newbee in the Jaguar world. My past experience has more to do with US cars from the 50-60's and with some French pre-War models. I will therefore learn from this forum more than I will contribute. Apologies in advance!
Well, I am glad to have found a forum like this one. It contains loads of valuable information and, most importantly, there seems to be an excellent atmosphere!
Regards
Jacques

Hello Jacques and welcome to jaguarforums.com.
Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Thanks All! I still have a lot of reading to do here. I have updated my signature as recommended by Gus, and I will also try to add a couple of pictures later.
Norri, you amaze me... how do you know the spelling of Lëtzebuerger? Have you been here?
As for my car, I have now a brand new windscreen, the wheel alignment is fixed, and I have just removed the ABS Module. Next step: opening the box and checking the solder joints which might be the cause of my ABS light being on.

Hi
ABS module now repaired. Everything is back to normal. Thanks to the useful hints posted on this forum!!
It was finally easier than I feared. Except that I should have been more cautious when cutting through the joint of the module cover, my finger will remember it for a while
Richard, I see you're in Brittany. Where exactly? I will spend a week in Quiberon in early July.
