Code P0402
Dear friends,
Thanks for the welcome.
As I told you my car had 2 misfire cylinder and they was fixed. Almost 2 days from the repair the engine light comes up again. Now the code was P0402. The mechanic said to me that the reason was probably related to the type of fuel used, probably regular gas. So they asked me to use just premium gas and put some additive in the car and said that the problem could be fixed in this way.
Do you believe that it is possible? My Jag is a 2003 X-type with 80.000 miles.
I was wondering that maybe some problems related to the DFPE sensor or EGR valve. What do you think? Do you have an idea how much it will cost to replace both pieces?
Best regards
Fernando
