From York, Pa. I own a reconstructed 2003 Jaguar X-type 2.5, 86,000 miles.
This has been a great car for us. The only major problem we have had is need a new transfer case recently. I have 17" tires now and in need of replacement. I am looking at Hankook tires now. Any advice?

Welcome to the forum RickG,
Always good to hear of happy ownership experiences although the transfer case must have taken the edge off it.
Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section to ask about tyre recommendations.
Given that you'll want to source them locally, the North East US Region section North East US - ME NH VT MA RI CT NJ NY PA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum will take you to owners and events in your region who may be able to help.
Enjoy the forum.
Graham

The X typers will be more than happy to help buddy.
As for those Kumho Ecsta's?
I inherited a brand new set of these on the new 19" rims I bought for my Audi A6...
I's only ever ran Pirelli, Cotinentals or Bridgestones previosuly to that, which are premium brands. The Kumho's are marketed as mid range and to be honest they were pretty darn good.
The wear rate was good and great in the dry too, they probably broke awaya a little earlier than the Conti's if pushed hard in the bends, but much better than I expected and a whole lot cheaper
Why not drop in and visit the regional section for your area?
There are lots of members local to you with the same interests.
