Hello All,
New to the forum, new to jaguar, new to all forums in general. Long time reader of Jeep forums but bought a jaguar non-running so thought I'd take the step and actually get involved.
The Jaguar is a united states car that started its life in chicago (I believe as per car fax) and eventually found its way to the desert. So far I have found no rust.
Some details:
It is a 1996 XJ6 (X300?) inline 6 sedan Jaguar. Sun Roof, Base model.
Before I got it it had been serviced regularly before the owner passed and it sat for a year or more. It was then passed on to the seller I got it from who drove it once in 2 years while it sat on his property. He sold it to me due to it not starting, but he did no diagnosis on it and just wanted to get rid of it. I got a good deal.
I have found help through forums with my other car, so wanted to contribute back in my journey to get this car running and driving.
Cheers,
Desert Man

Hello,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar, X300!
The very Best deals are for cars that don't start and owners don't want to mess with them, just want them GONE!
Won't it be a Hoot if it's some little thing like draining the gas for new and changing filters!! When that happens you should drive it around and show the seller what a good car he sold you for peanuts.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
