Hello all...just joined up to the forum, I have recently purchased a select edition 08 xk coupe, midnight with black leather interior. This is my 2nd XK as I previously leased an 07 XK convertible when it 1st came out. I am notorious for swapping out of cars every year or so but my 07 convertible was a rare exception as I had it for 3 yrs. Since that lease was up, I have owned a couple of cars in between and decided I needed to go back to the XK and decided to get the coupe this time...went with a select edition used as opposed to new since I still think the 08 looks nearly brand new and living in SoCal, used cars out here are really kept pristine. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. I have done a couple of mods to the car already...painted the calipers, did the vinyl lettering and added the chrome vents...will post some pics when I can.
