Well It is not NEW new, but it is new to me.
2007 XK convertible in Lunar Grey / Charcoal
Here she is in the corral where I bought her And here she is in the wild.
All my life a car would catch my eye and I would think 'what is that?'.
The answer usually was a Jaguar. From the early S-Types. Thru the XJ-S to the Recent X-types I always loved Jags.
Then came the XK8. It was the most beautiful car I had every seen. I didn't think There could be any car that could surpass it.
I was wrong. The new XK did, and then the F-type blew them all away (looks wise). But when I went to try out an F-type, I found it to be too small for me.
But the reason I was checking out that Dealership that day was because they had the F-type and an XK. I ended up "settling" for the XK.
I am very glad that I got the XK instead, besides the cost, the XK is sooo much more comfortable for me.
I love it and hope to be able to do some of the maintenance myself with the help of folks here.

Welcome to the forum Vistacom1,

Your Intro was automatically locked for moderation because of the location "in my car".

The reason we ask for a location is Jaguar specifications vary across World markets. An answer that applies to a European model is not necessarily correct for a US specification vehicle. City/State is sufficient and does nothing to reveal your address.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk-xkr-x150-33/ to the XK/XKR forum for help, advice and information.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thank you for adding Location details.

You can visit the US Northwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northwest-64/ to find other members in your region.

I previously had a 2007 XK and made the same F-Type versus XK choice last December. Loved the F-Type but the luggage capacity of the F-Type was inadequate.

The 2007 XK 4.2 was the most reliable Jaguar I've owned. Hope yours proves to be similar.

Graham
